Coffee freshness is a key factor in cup quality. It's not just about the roast date: it also concerns harvest, grinding, and even the moment of tasting.

What is fresh coffee?
The concept of coffee freshness covers several dimensions:

The last two are the most immediate: freshly ground coffee consumed quickly will always offer a better aromatic expression.

In most producing countries, coffee is harvested only once a year.
